DJ Child aka GZ’s love for music was evident from a very young age. He started making mixtapes for his peers at the age of 10 years old. He got his first DJ gig spinning for his elementary school dance in grade 6. Once he made Toronto his home in his later teenage years, he was DJ’ing in clubs & bars throughout the city. He specializes in Top 40’s, Hip-Hop, R&B, Pop, Reggae, Latin and Classic House music. From vinyl to Serato, old school to new school – he does it all, and does it flawlessly with 30 years of experience under his belt.
In the year 2000, DJ Child formed Liquid G Productions in the efforts to put his creative focus into music production. His music was featured on OMNI TV’s hit show, Metropia starring Maestro Fresh Wes. He has since, made beats for various emerging artists and has had the honor of DJ’ing for the infamous Raekwon “The Chef” of the iconic hip hop super group,
Wu-Tang Clan.
